December Daily Part 2

Hello

I hope everyone is close to being ready for Christmas since it is sneaking up fast. I still have shopping left to finish. Eeek! But at least I have kept up to date with my December Daily this year.

Here are my next couple of pages using the fabulous Polly Kit :)

This part of my DD and the few pages to follow were more focused on my little miss turning 1 rather than Christmas. Although she did get to meet Santa... and cried.

I really love this photo. This was from the day of Lily's birthday party all dresses up in her pretty tutu dress and headband (made by me of course). That flair is such a perfect simple embellishment for this insert.

Some close ups.

I will be back in a couple of days to share some more pages from my DD album :)

December Daily and November PL Kit

Hello

So it is that time of the year when there is more to cram in than there are hours to fit it all. My last few weeks have been insanely busy so I am a little further behind than I like. All in preparation for miss Lily's 1st birthday and party.

But here are a few recent creations, including the first couple of pages of my December Daily album, using the fabulous Polly Scrap Kits DD kit.

And a few inserts from my November PL

I have some exciting news to share for the new year. A new team I am joining. More details coming soon.

Thanks for stopping by :)

Never too old for a Santa photo

Hello lovely people,

Can you believe Christmas is 2 weeks away? Well... less than 2 weeks by the time this post is live. Eeek! I still have so much left to do. But at least we got the annual Christmas photo out of the way. By annual I mean our 2nd since my daughter was only 2 weeks old in her last one. This year she is not keen on Mr Claus so mummy had to join in on the Santa photo. At least he was a skinny santa and there was room in the chair so I didn't have to sit on his knee hahaha

I used the photo in my Scrapmatts layout for the month :)

Thanks for popping over :)

Exciting News!

Hey there

As any of my regular followers over the past year or more would have seen, my scrapbooking has turned more Project Life than anything else these days. I do still scrapbook, but no where near as often as I once did, instead favouring the day to day memory keeping of the pocket scrapbook style these days.

So I am very excited to announce that I am joining the Scrapbook Creations project life team for 2014. It is a new team with a couple of very talented fellow project lifers. There will be a single insert posted on the SC blog each day by one of the PL team members so it will be almost daily inspiration all year.

You can check out the announcement here

Wish me luck ;)

Scrapmatts November

Hey there everyone,

Can you believe how fast Christmas is sneaking up. It's a little crazy really. This year seems to be on fast forward. Hopefully knowing Christmas is so close you have already started your Christmas shopping and planning. I am about half way through mine so it's a good step in the right direction... especially since I have 10 niece and nephews. Eek! And all will be at my house for Christmas day.

While it does not suit everyone, a handmade gift can mean the world to some. The Scrapmatts memory cabinets are perfect for personalising as a handmade gift.

I left the wood raw but inked the edges to give it a bit more definition with an aged distressed ink look. Otherwise some simple embellishing with patterned paper, heat embossed scrapmatts and some flowers.

And a simple Christmas decoration made from the Christmas bauble scrapmatts and words.

Thanks for popping by

Don't you just love these wood veneer months?? :)

This was a pretty big week in our household. We celebrated our wedding anniversary, got to experience my sister being proposed to and had an awesome fun family day out at the beach!

Digital Baby Album Part 1

Hello

As I mentioned in an earlier post, with my daughters first birthday just around the corner, I need to have her digital baby album ready to roll so I can have it printed and back by Christmas so it has been a productive week of catch up on PL pages for the album this week so far.

Here are the first 10 weeks:

The pages are completed using a bit of a mix of collections including Becky Higgins Baby neutral, Midnight, Blush and Seafoam core kits with BH templates and some other random digital elements.

Thanks for visiting.
