From Screen Scrap to Entry

Hi all,

I actually had the opportunity to scrap a layout for a challenge on the weekend. It's been a while. This one is for the current Ever After movie inspiration at From Screen to Scrap. It features some lovely D-lish scraps embellishments and the gorgeous Kaiser Bonjour collection, teamed with some prima flowers.

The challenge requires journalling about your love story, bling (the pearl pin), and a fairytale themed title.

A2Z Scraplets April Releases

Hi all,

How has your week been? Mine has been tiring and busy with minimal scrapping unfortunately but at least I do have a couple of shares following the April scraplets releases. You can go to the blog to see all the design teams amazing inspirataion.

 Cool Kitty - Glitz designs paper, A2Z scraplets title and background. (This one I ran out of time on so it needs more work)

 Photo box - Kaisercraft box, rub ons, sweet nothings papers, these days collectables, blooms; A2Z rose, Thickers, Vintage pearl chains and doily.

Scrapbook Awards Entry

Hi all

I'm having a relatively quiet day at home, enjoying a bit of catch up browsing blogs and other online galleries. And, I managed to scrap 3 layouts yesterday too which is great as its been a bit of a crazy time for me lately. Hopefully I'll get a few more done this weekend.

This is a layout I love simply because I rarely use such bright colours. It was a DT layout for Scrapbooking Haven. Still sad Haven had to close as I'm yet to find a new store I love as much online. Probably good for my finances ;-)

Hoping to photograph and share some of my latest creations soon... its a bit gloomy here at the moment so waiting for the sunshine to re-emerge. Would love to hear what everyone else has planned this weekend so leave a comment and let me know :)

Getting Ready for Easter

Hello everyone,

What are you doing on this good Friday? I'm enjoying a quiet day at home and a chance to put together my easter gifts for my family. Simple but easy.

Here they are:

I ended up purchasing a box of cadbury cream eggs for cheap and some mini eggs and bundling them up in celephane and ribbon. The tags were a simple 5 minute job of nesting dies and a egg shaped punch.

Simple but they do the job.

April Colour Challenge A2Z Scraplets

Wow, second post of the day. Going well today haha And I have 2 layouts in progress. Yay for finding my scrap mojo.

Who is in the mood for a challenge? There is a great new challenge up at A2Z Scraplets and for something different this month, its a colour challenge rather than a sketch.  You can find it on the blog Here.

Isn't it great? Here is my challenge sample (sorry the photograph is terrible... was a bit gloomy that day) and it is featuring a fabulous new release scraplet from the easter range and one of the very pretty recent kaisercraft ranges, bonjour, with a Wicked Princess handmade embellishment.

A2Z Scraplets March Inspiration

Hi all
It has been a long time between posts as unfortunately I have been so flat out and tired lately, I haven't had a lot of motivation for scrapping. However, there was a bit of motivation there yesterday so hopefully things are about to pick up again.

These next layouts are using new March release A2Z Scraplets chipboard. There is lots more inspiration from the design team on the blog.

Blogger seems to be doing something very strange to my photos the past few days so I had to add them all to picasa and attach that way. Frustrating! But at least they worked this time.

A few more shares over the next couple of days and hopefully my scrap booking motivation comes back to me today too. Hubby is off to the footy so I have the day to myself :)
