Hello
This months challenge over at Scrappassion was to create a monochromatic layout using at least 4 photos. As I had already planned to completed a layout with 4 images of my husband from our wedding day, to go with the recent 4 pic bride one I completed in February, it was a perfect opportunity to do so. Our wedding colour was green so I attempted to create a monochromatic layout using green. It was probably a bit more challenging that using a brown or similar, as different shades of brown tend to go together well. Different greens, not so much. However I'm happy with the end result.
I created a ribbon flower from a magazine tutorial, which was nice and easy and effective. The other embellishments I used were some little flowers and kaisercraft chipboard. I also included a heart embellishment the same as the one used on the bride page so they have that and the polka dot green paper in common.
The photos are a bit dull as its a really dull, rainy day here so there was no where really bright enough to photograph the layout. However the background is in fact a pale green. My photo editting tools are not that spectacular so its something I'll need to invest in down the track.
Not an overly productive day as my ipod touch decided to not turn on so I spent a lot of the day trying to get my super slow computer to reinstall everything. Painful! It seems to have been one of those weeks I think so looking forward to a new week kicking off.
Yay, second challenge for the month complete!
