Hey there
Things are hectic here at the moment. I am looking forward to it quietening down a bit. Currently I am job sharing with myself lol We are in the process of recruiting at work but it means 100% of the workload in less than 50% of the hours. Hence why my blog is a bit bare. All should be back to normal in about 2 weeks :)
I thought I would share some of the recent layouts for Lily's first year album. The digital version. I have kept up pretty well with my project life... all 3 albums... despite the busy times. Phew!
Ooops I just realised I haven't added the background to these ones yet. One day I will go through and tweak all the digi pages for Lily's album in time for Christmas photo books. Her first birthday is 3rd of December so plenty of time to finalise ;)
Hope you have a great weekend ahead.

Been a while...
Oh dear, my poor neglected blog! Not sure I've ever been this long between posts. Shocking!
Things have been a bit busy but still.. no excuse.
Here are my latest design team creations for Scrapmatts:
There is nothing worse than the rush that comes with getting organised for special occasions, so I do like to stay a little ahead. Although normally not this far ahead with Christmas cards. However I am not complaining. 3 less cards to worry about when the Christmas rush begins.

And something else slightly less early but ahead of another special event.. a daddy daughter layout in time for Father's Day. I love the simplicity of this photo of my husband and daughter at the beach. I kept the layout itself fairly simple too, with a little gesso mess and some recycled cardboard mixed in with some chipboard goodness.
My husband is actually on tour with his band on his first Father's Day but plans to fly back home as early as he can on that day to spend time with our daughter :)

Thanks for stopping by :)

Oh Yum!
Hey there
As you may have noticed.... or maybe not. I have been dabbling in digital scrapbooking lately as well as the digital project life. In fact, this is my 4th digital scrapbook layout but I haven't been able to share the other 3 as amazingly enough, they have all been accepted for consideration to be published by Scrapbooking Memories. Wow!! This one wasn't quite magazine quality though haha Still... 3 outta 4. Can't complain!
This layout is actually done using the Becky Higgins Blush Project Life core kit from the Digital Project Life store. Just goes to show these kits are great for more than just Project Life. It also uses a couple of bits from a template.
My daughter was recently given her first strawberry to try and loved it. This was actually her second day of strawberries and there was no hesitation on this occasion. I was actually enjoy an arvo snack while she was meant to be having a nap in my lap... but no. She wanted mummy's snack too. Too cute!
It amazes me that my princess is already 8 months today. It has flown by and the past week or two has been so full of new skills and habits. She is pretty close to crawling, doing the commando thing all around the lounge. She easily pulls herself into sitting position now and with a little help, pulls up to a standing position too and then the first word happened too. Bub. Neither mum or dad won that one. Probably a good thing lol
Hope you're having a great weekend!

Creating with the Bright Skies Polly! PL Kit
Hello
I'm here with a couple of pages to share using the very fabulous Bright Skies Polly! Project Life kit:

Firstly, it's taken me forever to get a post happening. A bit of a crazy past week and a half. However, I must say I totally love love love this kit. The bright colours are very me these days. I absolutely love the cute patterns, the die cuts and the polaroids. Well all of it really but I am a bit obsessed with Echo Park too ;)
So here is some inspiration using this fabulous kit:
Very little was added from my stash, as this kit has so much goodness. However I did add alphas, including some Thickers on my title card and a couple of Studio Calico wood veneer and of course my Dymo labeller for journaling. Love my Dymo!
I am trying to add a splash of handwriting every couple of weeks because as much as I hate how it looks, I know it will be cherished by future generations (hopefully).
Week 29 pages and close ups:
I actually used a couple of items from the last kit on week 29. Some items I loved but did not get to work into my last kit layouts. You can see them on my title card. Otherwise again just alphas and the dymo otherwise... and my journaling is done with one of the new style Becky Higgins pens.
Don't you just love those bright patterns and fun colours throughout this kit. So diverse and easy to work with!
Anyway that is enough from me for this post. It's a little photo heavy so I hope you enjoyed seeing my latest pages. I am now working on last week... although it is late so it is time for bed.

Sweet Harmony Delights
Hello
If you are here for the A2Z Scraplets blog hop, scroll down and you will find the hop post. Good luck on your chance to win some awesome prizes :)
As I mentioned recently, I have started my own hobby based business since I am now working part time. It has been lots of fun and I am happy with how it has been going so far. Like any new thing, a bit of a slow start but I am so grateful of the support of so many lovely people.
You can find my facebook store page here
I am looking to branch out further and have some exciting new things on their way but at the moment, the main focus is headbands for babies/children (and even adults by request). It has been heaps of fun creating these for the store. And of course testing them on my pretty little model Lily.
I would love your support for my little store in case you have a little cutie in your life or even if you want to spoil yourself with some pretties!

Christmas in July Blog Hop
Welcome to the Christmas in July Blog Hop, inspiring you to get out your christmas stash and use it before all the new collections are introduced this month. Join the fun and create something too, use the hastag #scrapbookchristmas in twitter, facebook or instagram.
I am sure most of us have plenty of Christmas goodness to share. Although if you're anything like me, you may be a little disorganised still with getting certain projects finished. That's how it was for me for my December Daily last year. Actually, I'm usually pretty good and will finish a project before moving on to too many others. But the December Daily was a bit of an exception. With good reason too... that reason being a little person called 'Lily' who filled up most of my December.
2012 was my second year doing December Daily and I love the idea of it. Although it will definitely be more exciting now that I am a parent. Most of December is pretty average for us in the past but that's one of the joys of having children, is being able to enjoy these things all over again through their eyes. I think I might do my next December Daily Project Life style for 2013 though.
So here are some of my DD pages to share:
And it is never too early to start organising Christmas cards.
Hope you have enjoyed a little Christmas in July inspiration :)
Next on the hop is Sandra

Creative Space Week at Polly!
Hello
So we had a few weeks warning that the Polly! Team would be sharing our
creative spaces on the blog. I started well on my path to achieving a clean
room. I destashed a little & disposed of a little more. Then I got busy
& the process sorta stopped. I have been on this journey for an organised
space for a year or more. And I will keep at it until it is finally done. But
for now, it is still a work in progress and you get to see it in its current
state of mess.
Oh yes, that really is a desk under there. Quite a big one. But I have
always been skilled at burying desks under piles of stuff. I am quite skilled at
the art of stacking pizza boxes & other various items ;)
Here is my raskog cart which I got about 2
months ago. As I am a traditional scrapper as well as PL, I love it for storing
all my paints/mists etc in the bottom shelf. Shelf 2 is 2 core kit boxes &
lots of alphas. The top holds my thickers, washi tape & gadgets like my dymo
labellers. And a few containers on the side holding tools, etc & of course
some lovely wood veneer.
Then the neatest part of the room (yes, I can hear you laugh from here). My
expedit. This actually was neater before destashing but I got rid of a few
things that looked nice in the shelves & shoved some random stuff in there
instead lol I keep buttons & twine in ikea jars. The middle baskets are card
making supplies in one & embossing stuff in the other. The four bottom boxes
are flowers, paper scraps, chipboard & random stuff.
I also have some plastic drawers holding various supplies hidden behind the
door, under the pizza box stack.
The 3 stack paper rack is one of my best purchases though, with papers
sorted by manufacturer.
In another corner of the room is a repurposed tv unit holding albums,
magazines, OTPs & random mess. You don't need to see that corner or the one
at the end of the desk LOL
I am extremely lucky to have a good sized room dedicated to my Scrapbooking
but it hasn't stopped me taking over other rooms. That is the motivation for my
clean up though. With a baby almost on the move, time to stick to one
room.
Hopefully I have made all of you who think your room is messy feel a whole
lot better ;)
Enjoy the week.

Sweet Harmony Delights
Hello everyone
A big thank you to those of you who have popped in for a visit lately. Your comments and kind words are always so very appreciated. There is nothing nicer than sharing this creative passion with others :)
Today I have something a little different to share with my Aussie readers. Becoming a mother has resulted in me starting a new creative venture, inspired by my lovely Lily and all the gorgeous baby accessories out there. I have started my own headband and accessory making venture which I have opened as a Facebook page for now to see how it goes.
My store - Sweet Harmony Delights will specialise in lots of pretty accessories suitable for babies up until adults in most cases. Mostly baby headbands but other accessories to come once I get myself more established. I have been having a total blast creating these new items lately.
There will be some opening specials in the coming days and the official launch of sales opening so please take a look and become a 'liker'.
Lucky for me I have an adorable model at home...
Thanks
