WOYWW

So not a lot happening mid week this week. Got busy on the weekend & ran out of energy. I am trying to work out an 18th birthday card for my neice. Yep, with my early birthday present...Cuttlebug!

Can anyone suggest ideas for an 18th birthday present for my neice & a 21st present for my brother in law. We are having trouble with ideas for both so suggestions welcome.

My workdesk this week moved to the loungeroom floor. Oops. I've been putting wedding proofs in an album & its a big job with over 1300. But also experimenting with my bug.

I also have some new stamps, rub ons & embossing folder from ebay. Lots more goodies expected this week too.

Happy woyww and pop over to http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ to see what this is all about ;-)

Next time round, it'll be my birthday!

You sure have taken to you "Bug", Holly and there are some lovely things on your desk this week.
I love your Wedding LO's too, they are both really gorgeous. You have some beautiful photos to work with.

I bet you cannot wait for all those new things to come and play with them. That is a huge number of proofs to deal with - the best of luck with them.

Enjoy your Bug....wish I had an idea for your gifts, but I struggle with my own teens (boys...all they want is either Air Soft stuff or video game stuff.....although the Nook Color for Christmas was a hit! LOL) Star 102

Have fun with the cuttlebug! No ideas for gifts, but I remember when I was 18 that I all I really wanted were giftcards to my fave shops or cash. Not very sentimental or meaningful gifts, but that's how I rolled then.

Great card love the colours you are working with - as to ideas for your niece - my daughter will be 17 on Monday and what she wants is a day out shopping with lunch included and some spending money as to your nephew sorry not a lot of help although most boys like to have money to spend on games or clothes as well - have fun crafting ~ Nicky no.9

Sorry I can't help you with the gift ideas, on BIG birthday's I usually get champers or jewelry.

Lovely to visit your blog :)

Hi all,
Thanks for your visits and comments. We ended up getting my niece and brother in law a signature frame each. Its a big photo frame with a picture in the middle surrounded by an extra large photo matt, which everyone can sign at the party. We decided it is sentimental but doubles as a memento of the day for each of them. Hubby also got his brother a massive beer stein and I'll probably get something girly for my niece to go with hers too, like jewellery maybe. :-)

First of all, beautiful banner! Second, you've never seen a squirrel? I have so many scurrying around the property AND setting up winter residence in several unreachable areas of my attic that I could spare a few to ship to you! Lol. Have fun with that Cuttlebug...unless you're gonna be busy celebrating your birthday, I expect we might see some creations next week.... Thx for visiting me!
